Jools_Montague_King_The_Scarlet_OrchidWhat rules, if any do you live by?

To be authentic and true to myself. I also think it is very important to laugh….a lot! I also follow my intuition.

What is your most epic failure?

Erm I don’t really see things as failure, but as an opportunity to learn and move on. I guess there are a couple of past relationships that could be classed as epic failures!

What do you do that’s all about you?

Yoga, Running and going to the Gym, oh and getting my nails done.

What is your most satisfying object?

My slippers. Friends always laugh at me as I take them where ever I go.

What does it mean to reinvent yourself?

As women we spend a great deal of time ‘reinventing’ ourselves as we grow and move through different phases of our lives . I reinvented myself when I became a mother. There was a big shift and all of a sudden I was Jools and Mum.

What would you do if you weren’t doing what you do?

That’s a difficult question because I LOVE what I do. I was always fascinated with Psychology and I love people. I think I would have trained to be a drama therapist.

When are you happiest?

Sitting on the sofa with my two girls and my hubby snuggled up on a Sunday afternoon watching a movie. I also love spending time with friends, so in a beer garden on a sunny afternoon enjoying a glass or two of wine.

What’s your recipe for success?

Determination and Drive. NEVER let someone tell you you can’t.

Mean people.

Lots of things- my children, silly comedy, my husband’s dancing. 

Greedy and selfish people.

What traits do you love in others?

Openess, honesty and kindness.

If you had a groundhog day (like in the film) what would you most want to be doing?

I would hate the same day over and over again. I love variety. If I had to be doing something it would be sleeping and spending time with my family.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

My stress levels- I’m working on it!

What do you think the world will be like in 2060?

As an optimist I would like to think there would be some huge improvements to the world. I would love to see a world that is fair without suffering.

Who would you most like to be stuck to be stuck in a lift with?

Johnny Depp ;-)

Books or radio on a desert island?

Books for sure.

If you could change the world for the better, what would you do?

Stop suffering and find a cure for all the hideous illnesses we face.

If you were an animal, what animal would you be?

A cat- a boring choice perhaps but they are independent, sleep loads, get lots of love and get fed. What’s not to like?

Are you a morning person?

Yes, if I’ve had enough sleep then I am productive in the mornings.

What are you working on now?

How long have you got?! Too many things to list!

What is your BIG why?

I have lots of big Why’s, but I guess one of the biggest would be why is Cancer still so cruel to so many.

A few days ago.

At the weekend, dancing in the kitchen with my girls, singing our hearts out to ABBA!
